The ultimate output products of digital mapping are based on mapsheet, whereas currently the prevalent used digital mapping modes are working on model. So the large quantity of workload such as model connection and editing is inevitable.

There adds a new digitalize mapping module based on mapsheet --- VirtuoZo Mapper-F in the standard version of VirtuoZo.

This module uses the calculation result of VirtuoZo AAT to realize the mapsheet based working mode. It is convenient to create and manage the relationship between the models and the mapsheet. The system can load the neighboring model as soon as users complete the mapping on the current model thereby effectively reduces the editing workload and improves the connection quality of overlapped area. Thus, it is convenient for the users' operation and the productivity has been improved greatly.

Characteristics :

• The system can calculate the relationship between the model and the mapsheet and show this relationship in a list in the Map-Model manager dialog box. On selecting any mapsheet, the models belong to the selected map will be bold for the users to operate conveniently.
• Users can modify the Map-Model relationship table such as add, delete etc. according to the concrete circumstances .
• The system will load the neighboring model when the feature collection and editing has been implemented in the edge of the model and show its name in the window caption. Thus, the efficiency is improved .
